"It is with great sadness that we share some personal news from the band. A close family member of Joey’s is facing a very serious illness. As a result, he and John have made the difficult decision to cancel all upcoming Calexico performances so he can focus on his family’s health.

The cancellations include Calexico’s featured appearance as part of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra’s holiday shows on December 13 and 14, and their spring 2026 European tour. The European headline shows will be refunded at point of purchase.
